Content Based English Language Development: Language Development through Science and Social Studies

Kindergarten through 2nd grade students work with their classroom teachers, ESL team, and their peers to develop their English language skills through the science content. 3rd through 5th grade students work with their classroom teachers, ESL team, and their peers to develop their English language skills through science and social studies content. The ESL team and classroom teachers work together to provide additional support emmergent bilingual students during their literacy blocks.
